There is much you can do with Drupal and Panels. In this session I am looking to introduce people to one of the great and flexible options available in Panels... a node panel. It sounds innocent enough, but the power and options that become available to the site builder, once a node is "smart"... can open the door to a new world for a beginning or intermediate site builder.

The plan is to include how these amazing panels can impact your theming possibilities.

1. default node panel and the options available (node fields, context) - All Nodes
2. dynamic node panel (variants, selection criteria, context, arguments) - Node Type
3. url argument node panel (view pane, arguments) - Path Type
4. specific node panel (a cool 'view', user-role-specific panes, ) - Photo Page - re-orderable by admins
