This year BADCamp will host the first ever Higher Education Summit. Come and enjoy a day filled with university folks and share and strengthen your Drupal skills.
This is your opportunity to discuss with your peers from other universities about topics of your Drupal expertise as well as see how your higher-ed colleagues are leveraging Drupal to streamline business processes, engage the public, and much more.
This event will be held in the beautiful Maude Fife Room in Wheeler Hall (room 315) on the UC Berkeley campus.

Welcome and introducing the program
10:15am - 10:45am
Geographic Discussion Groups - Attendees seated geographically. Use this time to discuss issues and goals with others from your college and others nearby.
10:45am - 11:30am
Open Atrium as a Campus Intranet - Kevin Miller (kevee) from Cal State Monterey Bay, presents a case study of their full-featured Open Atrium site with 6000 students, staff, and faculty and 20,000 applicants users serving over 1200 internal groups for clubs, class projects, and university committees.

Lightning talks from summit participants - If you can squeeze all of your college's Drupal awesomeness into 5-10 minutes, we'd love to hear from you.

Topical Discussion Groups: Everybody switch tables, and use this time to talk with people from other colleges on topics such as performance, distributions, features, marketing, social media, or anything else you can think of.

Case Study: Stanford University - Zach Chandler (zchandler) and Irina Zaks
(irinaz) will present recent work at Stanford, shed some light on how they are partnering with Drupal companies, and where they plan to go from here.
2:45pm - 3:30pm
Case Study: University of California, Santa Cruz - Peter McMillan (peterm95018) and Tim Gustafson (tjg) will look at how Drupal fits into the UCSC web presence and, more specifically, how the Baskin School of Engineering consolidated from six different CMSes to Drupal.

SF State Continuous Integration Study Case - Emanuele Quinto (emaV) from Cal State San Francisco will talk about how they implemented their development cycle process based on continuous integration and QuickBuild.
