This course is from 9:30am to 12:30pm.

HelloDrupal! is an introduction to Drupal. Suitable for students, business owners, and career switchers who might consider a career in open source web development, this course will help you understand the power of Drupal, and some common use cases for Drupal. In this seven hour session, you'll also get some basic experience using Drupal, and learn about the Drupal community.

By the end of this full-day course, you will be able to:
- Explain how a typical site is built in Drupal, and explain the page-model in Drupal.
- Use Drupal specific terminology such as fields, views, node, block, page.
- Understand how to build sites the "Drupal way"
- Determine what skills you need to develop to reach your goals.
- Know where to go to find career opportunities in Drupal

Participants will receive a printed manual which outlines step-by-step activities. Dharmesh Mistry, David Rothstein, and Chris Strahl from Acquia will be delivering the training.
