Getting your module maintainers to love you - or at least help you

Positive interactions in the issue queue are an underrated form of contribution to Drupal. If you've ever needed help with Drupal, Core or Contributed modules, or you're new to Drupal and don't know how to navigate the queues, this session will show you how to get the most help from a maintainer the most quickly.

We'll talk about:

  • the resources you should use before you submit a report
  • the kinds of things that help make a good bug report
  • how to use (and not use) the issue components
  • how to tag an issue

and most importantly, what makes maintainers cry, get angry, and ultimately ignore your requests in the queue.
