Earlier this year, the Drupal community switched from the CVS version control system to Git, the distributed version control system that's sweeping the world.

In this session, I will:

• Explain what Git is.
• Show how it can be useful to your development workflow, even in a one-person shop.
• Introduce you to how Git is used by the Drupal community for module and core development.
