3 things about Drupal that have driven this Product Manager crazy

Drupal is a great platform to develop simple as well as complex websites. Its unique approach sometimes poses interesting challenges for lowly product managers trying to make an honest day's living by building world-class websites. This talk will address 3 high-level challenges we've encountered at CommonSenseMedia.org and some of the approaches we've taken to address them.

1) Drupal terminology is too general. It's making us work harder.

2) Browsing modules does not inspire good product directions. (Isn't Drupal supposed to be cool?!?)

3) The promise of Drupal ("free, flexible, robust") often makes business types and engineers ask if we can just go with "what's out of the box". um...yeah, not always a good idea. Let me explain why.
