Drupal & #OccupyWallStreet

#OccupyWallStreet is sweeping across the world, and the tech side of it is moving even MORE quickly. There's a ton of ideas floating through a rapidly growing list of interested people; in particular, the focus has started shifting towards systems that can be used to facilitate interoperation between the now dozens/hundreds of solidarity occupations that have sprung up across the world. That takes some serious planning.

This session will start with some summary about what's happening on the tech scene for #ows, and shift into some specific site build planning. I've got at least one project in mind, and I'm going to try to wrassle some more needs up from the existing ows tech folks before I come to this BoF.

If you've got any interest in how #ows is working on the tech side, DO come by. If you can't come but are interested, PLEASE ping me somewhere, and consider creating an account on nycga.net and joining the internet group. Possibly also https://groups.google.com/group/internet_working_group , though we're trying to deprecate that list in favor of the nycga site.
